I’ve finished the American TVC I was working on for Splenda and am now getting ready to drive back from Sydney to Melbourne.  I’ve been here for over a month and I’m homesick for my Island! I’ve finished the film in Melbourne – “The 25th Reich” – so now I can focus on my poor neglected writing for awhile.  It’s been an interesting time, coaching 4 American dialects in the film: West Coast, Texan, Brooklyn Catholic and Jewish Bronx, all set in 1942 so that adds a slightly different sound to today’s modern ones. The actors worked so hard and I’m sure we’ll see it on the screen. The commercial, on the other hand, only wanted help with one word: “sweet”!  Can’t wait to see the finished results for both projects.
